Meet The Team

Jeemin Park, a student at Crean Lutheran High School, founded Kindness by Mail after years of volunteering at senior centers revealed the significant loneliness many seniors face. Wanting to offer consistent emotional support, she built a program where students can brighten someone’s day through handmade cards. Outside of her community work, Jeemin Park explores bioinformatics research and expresses her creativity through design projects. She plans to pursue a path in pre-med or bioengineering, driven by her passion for science and improving lives.

Shirley Gwak is known for her strong communication skills and ability to connect with people of all ages. She joined Kindness by Mail to help foster meaningful relationships between students and seniors through heartfelt letters and messages. Whether she’s coordinating outreach, uplifting teammates, or sharing stories with seniors, Shirley brings clarity and enthusiasm to everything she does.

Chloe serves as the Secretary for Kindness by Mail. With a talent for organization and a love for design, she keeps meetings and projects running smoothly while contributing creative touches to every card-making initiative. Chloe is dedicated to helping the program stay structured and visually inspiring.
